Team 4 Weapon
Huntingdonshire Fencing Club retain 4 weapon team championship.
HFC's team of Tracey Coates (women's foil) Richard Sage (men's foil) Ivan Ward (epee) and Dan Tozer (sabre) fenced undefeated through the competition. Beating Northampton "B" 40-25, Yarmouth "A" 40-37 and Cambridge 40-30 in the seeding round to be no.1 seed.
They went on to defeat Yarmouth "B"40-16 in the 1/4 finals, Affondo (Norwich) 40-29 in the semi-final and Chelmsford 40-31 in the final.
This success continues a run of medals from 2007 (silver) - 2008 (gold) - 2009 (bronze) - 2010 and 2011 (Gold).

It was a good competition with the fights in the last 8 hard fought.
The final was extremely good with both fencers using good footwork and distance.
It was a close run fight with the 1st 3 min ending at 4-4 then after the 2nd 9-8 & the 3rd 3 mins saw Phil squeezing ahead and winning 15-9
